Still Waters

A retreat with Well Rooted Knoxville

A weekend by the lake.

Yoga. Campfires. Slow Mornings

Join Me at the Lake!

What to Expect

What if rest felt simple again?

Still Waters was created as an opportunity to step away from urgency for a weekend.

No rushing

No performance.

No expectation to be anything other than human.

Just lake morning, movement, campfires, good company and space to exhale. This retreat is intentionally small and intentionally simple.

A quiet return to what matters.

❋ Why camping?

Because simplicity changes us.

❋ Why small groups?

Because connection deepens in smaller circles.

❋ Why stillness?

Because your nervous system deserves somewhere to land.

❋Why lake life?

Because water reminds us how to soften.

An opportunity to exhale.

Friday

Arrive

  • Loyston Point in Andersonville, TN. We have three campsites (max 12 yoga participants but plenty of space for non-yogis too); three tents per site. Any number of people you like in your tent. If you have a pet that is friendly and well behaved, they are welcome too!

  • A tent, your sleeping equipment and the usuals for camping. Food. Any sporting equipment you desire for padlling, swimming and biking. Your yoga mat (props are provided). Showers and restrooms are readily available and Loystone Point also has a tiny general store.

  • We get damp and carry on! Saturday’s yoga classes will be held under a covered pavilion. Temperatures in September at Loyston trend around 70-82 during the day and 50-60 at night. Saturday is also the full moon!

  • The first camper is $69. If there are additional campers in your tent they are $30 regardless of whether they participate in yoga or not. If you are camping alone, $69! This covers the campsite and yoga.

  • Absolutely not! Anyone - even those recovering from injury or surgery or pregnant - can participate in Osteo Thai Yoga. Modification, support from props and an experienced guide leads each session and includes Osteo Thai hands on support.

  • You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.

An invitation to settle.

Sometimes healing looks less like fixing yourself and more lik sitting beside the water long enough for you body to remember how to soften.
